Apply to present at UChicago's inaugural interdisciplinary campus-wide Undergraduate Research Symposium on Friday, May 15, 2020! All College students and recent alumni involved in undergraduate research and creative scholarship are invited and encouraged to apply to present.
You can choose to present a poster, to give an oral presentation (10 minutes), or to participate in a visual and performing arts session. Individual and small group research presentations (up to three students, including the primary presenter and two additional co-presenters) are welcome. Please only submit one application per presentation/group.
Application Components/Requirements:
- Eligibility (You must be a current UChicago student or recent Alum to present)
- Presentation Information
- Primary Presenter - Primary Presenter creates, edits and submits the application for self and on behalf of a group
- Individual Presentation (Primary Presenter)
- Group Presentation (Primary Presenter and Co-Presenters)
- Any Co-Presenters (up to two)
- Presentation preference

- Research Mentor Information
- Primary Faculty Research Mentor - You must list at least one Faculty Research mentor to be invited for Faculty Mentor Approval to approve your research abstract and recommend you/your group to present
- Other Research Mentor(s)
- Research Abstract (one single paragraph up to 350 words max)
