2025 National Fellowship Emergency Funding Request

This form is for current students in the College who have been selected as national scholars, who are currently living abroad, and whose funding has been discontinued or paused, due to disruptions in the U.S. federal government. Examples of this include Boren Scholars and Gilman Scholars living outside the U.S.

Submissions will be evaluated in the order in which they are received. Decisions are made on a case-by-case basis. Priority will be given to emergencies.

Please select the name of the national fellowship that you have received.
Please provide a comprehensive description of your emergency. This includes stipends and/or funding that have been paused or cancelled; the amount of funding involved; as well as the date(s) when this occurred. If there are other areas of impact -- such as return travel to the U.S. -- please outline these needs here. In the sections below, you will be able to upload documentation -- e.g. email or printed communications -- that confirm that your funding has been paused, as well as any additional communications pertaining to your funding. If there is any additional information that you believe we should be aware of, please provide this here.
In this section, please upload any written communications documenting that your funding has been paused or cancelled.
