Quad Go! Research Grant Award:
- Scholars will receive a grant of $2,000.
Additional benefits for Quad Go! Scholars:
- Quad Go! Scholars will benefit from annual CCRF research programming, scholar-community events and directed advising on relevant opportunities and resources.
- Institutional support through CCRF for scholarly research and recognition of that work for future postgraduate endeavors, including but not limited to advanced study, professional careers in a broad array of fields, research-based grants and fellowships.
Expectations of Quad Go! Scholars:
- All Quad Go! Scholars are required to submit an end-of-grant report on their experience.
- All Quad Go! Scholars will be required to present a poster at the annual University of Chicago Undergraduate Research Symposium (held every April); if unable to present at the first symposium, they will be required to do so before graduation.
- For the duration of the award period, students must continue to be actively engaged as an undergraduate researcher, and remain a full-time undergraduate student in the University. Quad Scholars should spend an average of 7-10 hours per week on their research for at least one full academic quarter (longer engagement is encouraged).
