Norman H. Anderson Conference Travel Grants
Students may apply for travel to a domestic conference in which the student is an author and will personally present a paper or poster. Funding will be capped at $800 (including a per diem not to exceed four days). Award amounts are based on availability of funds. Students must make the argument that the travel would not ordinarily be funded by other sources. Applications will be evaluated based on excellence of the applicant's educational record, the merit of the proposal, and the feasibility and justification of the proposed budget. Applicants should submit a copy of the conference letter stating their presentation has already been accepted. Applicants who have received funding in the past should submit a brief paragraph of how the past award was spent.
Application Process:
To apply, you must be a current undergraduate student majoring in psychology. Please send a one-page write-up and one-page budget/budget justification to Mimi Maduff: mhalpern@uchicago.edu. Be sure to address the subject line as “Norman H. Anderson fund application.”
