We envision pioneering research at the frontier of understanding the intricate interplay between cancer and obesity. Our primary focus is on unraveling the complex mechanisms that underlie the relationship between these two pervasive health challenges. By delving deep into the molecular and cellular interactions, we strive to translate our discoveries into tangible solutions that hold the promise of transforming patient outcomes. Central to our mission is the exploration of host metabolism as a pivotal nexus in the development and progression of metabolic diseases, including cancer, obesity, and diabetes.

Primary Responsibilities: 

The undergraduate student will be involved in a cutting-edge basic cancer and biochemistry research program that utilizes techniques related to cancer metabolism, and cellular biology. In this project, the student will utilize mouse models and cellular culture models. The day-to-day work will involve techniques related to animal care, tissue culture, and sample processing in close collaboration with a group of dedicated colleagues.

Minimum Qualifications and/or Eligibility Requirements: 

We are always seeking motivated and enthusiastic students to join our lab. Strong background in molecular biology and cell culture is an asset. A track record demonstrating to be meticulous and detail oriented. The student must be fluent in English, both written and verbal. The student must adapt a team-oriented working style.
