NIH Undergraduate Scholarship
Supports undergraduate students in the biomedical and behavioral sciences.
The National Institutes of Health (NIH) provides scholarships to students from disadvantaged backgrounds who are committed to careers in biomedical, behavioral, or health-related research in the social-sciences. Scholars receive up to $20,000 per year for tuition and other expenses, plus laboratory experience, mentoring opportunities and past-graduate employment. The scholarship is renewable for up to four years.
Applicants may be interested in additional summer research opportunities through the NIH or the University of Chicago Biological Sciences Collegiate Division.
