The John Crerar Foundation Science Writing Prize for College Students

Opportunity Description:

The John Crerar Foundation Science Writing Prize for College Students is an annual competitive award for excellence and clarity in science writing that acknowledges the ability of a University of Chicago College student to produce a paper, on a scientific topic, which is thorough in its arguments but accessible to a broad readership.

First prize: $1500
Second prize: $500
Third prize: $300

Minimum Qualifications and/or Eligibility Requirements: 

The award is open to all University of Chicago undergraduates.
