The Department of Chemistry Hillhouse Undergraduate Travel Award

Travel award for Chemistry students presenting at scientific conferences.

The Department is now accepting applications for the Hillhouse Undergraduate Student Travel Award. This award will be used to help defray travel expenses for students presenting at scientific conferences. The student must present either a paper or a poster in order to be eligible to receive this award. A letter from the student’s advisor supporting their student’s application for this travel award must be received by the Teaching Matters Committee. The award will defray travel costs up to $1000.

There will be an effort to be equitable between fields and individual research groups. Application for a second travel grant will be considered but at a lower priority.
