Ethan Ostrow named Marshall Scholar

Ethan Ostrow, Law, Letters, and Society 2024; 2024 Marshall Scholar

Ethan is one of 51 students nationwide to receive this prestigious fellowship, which supports graduate study in the U.K. As a Marshall Scholar, Ethan will study Socio-Legal Studies at the University of Oxford and work towards expanding restorative justice approaches when he returns to the U.S.

Ultimately, he seeks to dismantle the U.S. prison pipeline by creating an offramp and working toward a future in which restorative justice is used to mend the socioeconomic causes of violence, repair interpersonal relationships and build engaged, supportive communities.
