Undergraduate Research Opportunity with Professor Megan Sullivan, Art History

Opportunity Description:


Prof. Megan Sullivan seeks an undergraduate research assistant to help with bibliographic and archival research related to a new work on art from Peru and Venezuela in the 1960s and 1970s. 

This position will be for the remainder of the 2019-20 academic year, with the possibility of extension to summer 2020 and the following academic year.

Primary Responsibilities: 

Tasks including compiling and annotating various bibliographies, searching online archival databases, locating works of art in museum and private collections, contacting archives to determine their holdings of relevant materials, securing image permissions for publication.

Minimum Qualifications and/or Eligibility Requirements: 

Experience with humanities research and working with scholarly sources in the humanities. Excellent reading knowledge of Spanish required.


Preferred Skills: 

Familiarity with modern and contemporary art and/or Latin American culture. Spoken and written Spanish ability.
