Dr. Thompson is a Professor of Neurosurgery at the University of Chicago. His lab studies the molecular drivers of pediatric brain tumor dissemination and develops novel peptide vaccines for the treatment of pediatric brain tumors.
General Description:
The Thompson lab has opportunities for undergraduate students to participate in a year long "independent study" research program. The expectation is to work approximately 15 hours per week during the academic year.
