Research Assistant Positions

Undergraduates participate in many RDCEP research efforts, working closely with faculty, graduate students, and postdocs. RDCEP offers paid hourly research assistantships for undergraduate students and post-baccalaureates (“pre-docs”) interested in working on problems at the intersection of energy and environmental science. Students participating in the Federal Work Study Program are especially encouraged to apply.

UChicago students: To apply for academic year and summer research positions with RDCEP, please upload your CV and a cover letter to our Environmental Research Network site and contact Dr. Emily Padston (padston@uchicago.edu) so we know to find your materials there.

If you are a UChicago undergraduate interested in environmental research and seeking to connect with faculty and staff who can offer research positions, please join our Environmental Research Network.
