Pausanias Summer Research Fellowship

Provides support to an undergraduate student in Classics for research abroad in sites of interest for classical studies

The Pausanias Summer Research Fellowship is expected to be worth $5000 this year. The fellowship provides support to an undergraduate student in Classics for research abroad in sites of interest for classical studies. It may be used to pursue a project of the student's own design or to participate in appropriate institutional programs abroad.

Responsibilities

A written report of what was accomplished during the period of the Fellowship must be submitted to the Director of Undergraduate Studies by the first week of the following Autumn Quarter.

Eligibility Requirements

This Fellowship is limited to Classics majors and minors.

To apply for the Fellowship, please submit to our Administrative Assistant, Kathy Fox, by the Monday of second week of Spring Quarter of third year:

 

  • A current copy of your transcript
  • An intenerary or project statement of 2-3 pages
  • A provisional budget
  • A faculty letter of recommendation
