The Dunn Research Prize is designed to contribute towards living expenses of rising fourth-year students as they work on a major piece of writing or research, such as a BA Project. Funds must be used in the summer following the winner's third year in the College.
Scholarship recipients will be expected to send the Director of Undergraduate studies a short report (1-2 pages) about their work by the beginning of the third week in Fall Quarter following the summer when the student received the award.
Third-year English majors in the College are eligible to apply for the Dunn Prize.
Students should submit a brief proposal describing the project and a letter of support from a faculty member to the Undergraduate Program Assistant, Katie Kahal (email@example.com). There is no minimum GPA requirement and faculty recommenders may come from outside the English Department. For more information on this opportunity, please contact Katie.
