CRASSH Research Scholars Program

College Research in the Arts, Social Sciences, & Humanities (CRASSH) Scholars Program:

The CRASSH Research Scholars Program provides competitive research grants to support scholarly research and creative inquiry in the arts, social sciences, and humanities fields guided and mentored by faculty. These awards are for College students who have identified or are already pursuing research on a specific faculty-led project.

The $5000 CRASSH awards provide two quarters of academic year research funding and are designed to support students in more deeply engaging with their discipline with reduced financial burden during the academic year. Students in the arts, humanities and social sciences who receive a CRASSH grant will be recognized as CRASSH Research Scholars and receive quarterly programming designed to enhance the scholars' experience and build an interdisciplinary research community.

Applications for the CRASSH Research Scholars Program are accepted two times per year. Read more about CRASSH, including eligibility, benefits and expectations, and the application process here: https://ccrf.uchicago.edu/undergraduate-research/crassh-research-scholars
